Meet the Speaker: Richard Lawn 

BVSc CertAVP(SAM) DipECVN MRCVS

EBVS & RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Neurology

Richard qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2014. Following graduation, he spent four years at a busy small animal hospital in South Wales where he completed the RCVS post graduate certificate in small animal medicine. In July 2018 Richard undertook a 1-year rotating internship at Langford Vets Referrals, and returned to join the Neurology team in July 2020 as a Resident and subsequently Staff Clinician in Veterinary Neurology. In February 2024 Richard passed his examinations to become a Specialist in Veterinary Neurology. Richard is particularly interested in inflammatory brain diseases having published in this area, as well as surgical management of complex malformations.
